She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Allan and Joyce Hines (Gormley); her parents-in-law, Hazel Gibson (Forsythe) and Bryce Gibson; and her brothers-in-law, Scott Gibson (Colleen) and Barry Gibson (Lynn).

She is survived by: her husband Glenn; her sons, Robert and David; her grandsons, Noah, Quinn and Carson; her brother-in-law Darrall (Judy); and her sister Janet Dobson (Cal). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
