With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franz Roth of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 13, 2026 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef Roth and Margareta Roth; his siblings, Margareta, Hans and Wenzel; and his nephew Hans-Martin.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his sons, Michael Joseph (Ingrid Majarais) and Stephen Franz (Raquel Giorgetti); his grandchildren, Abby, Alex, Ella, Andrew and Lizzie; his brother Josef (Renata); his sibling-in-law Inga; and his nieces and nephews, Susanna, Ulrich, Andreas, Sabina, Klaus and Peter.
