Geneva Christina Marsman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Christina Marsman (Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pearl Symonds and Frank Oliver; her siblings, Ivan Symonds, Clark Symonds, Edith Kennedy, Constance Robinson and Alfaretta Williams; and her close friend Linda Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Marsman (Jimmy); her sons, Carleton Marsman and Randy Marsman (Alicea); her sisters, Marvis Symonds, Ines Hamilton and Marilyn Symonds; her granddaughters, Bria and Raylene; and her great grandchild La'Miyah.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (633 Pockwock Rd, Upper Hammonds Plains, NS B4B1N8).
