She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Owen Murphy and Jessie Murphy; her mother-in-law Edie Richardson; her children, Michelle Crouse (Donnie), Jaime Richardson (Chauna) and Holly Richardson (John Baker); her siblings, Linda Hennessy and Blake Murphy; her grandchildren, Corbin Crouse, Taylor Richardson and Carlie Richardson; her husband Wayne; and her brother Clarence. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
