It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanann Shirley Quaintance (Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 14, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Gloria Bowman (Swinemar). She is survived by : her parent Maxwell Bowman; her husband David Quaintance; her children, Natalie Webb (Quaintance) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi Essency, Kathryn Essency (Quaintance) of Hammonds Plains, NS and Craig Quaintance of Hammonds Plains, NS; and her siblings, Valerie Blackwood (Bowman) of Fall River, NS and Kendal Bowman of Dartmouth, NS. She is also survived by three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
