Joyce Geraldine Hunter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Geraldine Hunter of Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Joyce Geraldine find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Allen and Grace Allen; and her siblings, Dorothy Steeves (Fraser), Stuart Allen, Mavis Ryder (Frank), Murray Allen (Margaret), Roydon Allen (Marilyn) and Carol Butler.

She is survived by: her daughter Ann Desjardins (Pierre) of Hammonds Plains, NS; her brother Brooks Alden of Vancouver, BC; and her brother-in-law Brian Butler of Kingston, ON. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
