He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Sr. Bishop and Florence Bishop (MacPhee); his wife Kathryn L. Caldwell; his sons, Michael (Jennifer Skuffham) and Jeff (Marcia Gibson); his grandchildren, Camden, Leah Newton (Brody) and Reid Ward; his great grandchild Mara Newton; his brothers, Richard (Irene) and Brian (Shirley); his sister-in-law Marilyn; and his brother Bernie. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wellwood Community Hall at the Hantsport Baptist Church (6 Willow St, Hantsport, NS B0P1P0).
