He was predeceased by: his parent Alfred MacInnis; his daughter Theresa Anne; and his siblings, Alicia Dauphinee, Ronald and Chesley.

He is survived by: his parent Vera MacInnis (Levy); his wife Joyce (Watson) of Hantsport; his children, Kathryn Kenny (Paul) of Hants Border, Lori Cooper (Doug) of Hantsport, Doug MacInnis (Janice) of Wolfville and Brian MacInnis (Fiona) of Hantsport; his sisters, Frene Harvie of Windsor and Verna Harvey of Kentville; his grandchildren, Kristy Webster of Hantsport, Michael MacInnis (Ashley) of Antigonish, Nathan Kenny (Sarah) of Coldbrook, Philip Kenny (Claudia) of Timmins, ON, Luke Kenny (Jen) of Norton, NB, Brandon MacInnis (Meghan) of Hantsport and Rieleigh MacInnis (Kate) of Dartmouth; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Jackson, Mason, Aida, Harper, Maci, Reta and Noah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
