It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dion Sandy Randell (Head of Chezzetcook, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 22, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Doris Randell and Clem Randell; his true love Joanne; his children, Matthew, Jenna (Tristan), Amy, Michael and Mark; his pets, Deogie, Bella and Bucket; his grandchildren, Audrey, Amelia, Odin, Sadie and Brooklyn; his siblings, Cherry-Ann (Will) and Dale (Grace); his siblings' children, Shaelynn (Rob), Isabella, Victoria, Katie-Lynn and William; his in-laws, Wally and Audrey; his sister-in-law Stephanie (Eric); and his friends, Mike, Kim, Ed, Vinny, Darcy, Peter, Nick and DeeDee.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Chezzetcook Fire Hall (5543 Nova Scotia Trunk 7, Head of Chezzetcook, NS B3E1K7).
In lieu of flowers, Dion wished that donations be made in his memory to Hospice Halifax, 618 Francklyn Street, Halifax, NS B3H3B4.
