We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020, Jean Laurie Hope Merchant of Head of Jeddore, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her former life partner Nathan Irvin Clark; and her siblings, Joyce, Dorothy, Barbara, Arnold, Donald and Bucky.

She is survived by : her daughter Laurie; her husband Roy Merchant; and her children, Dawn, Christopher "Chris" Robin, Anthony "Tony", Perry and Timothy "Tim". She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
