It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Stewart (Head of St Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 1, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Ronald James Stewart; his siblings, Patricia Black and Edward "Jerry" Stewart; and his brother-in-law Roy Dunbar. He is survived by: his parents, James Stewart and Dorothea Stewart (Feary); his wife Heather Clare Stewart (Macnab); his son Gregory Stewart (Elisabeth Paul) of North Vancouver; his grandsons, Felix Stewart and Andre Stewart; his sister Breta Dunbar (Roy) of Toronto; his nieces, Wendy Dunbar of Toronto and Debbie Dunbar of Toronto; and his siblings-in-law, Alan Macnab (Anne) of Victoria and Jean Macnab (Tom Anderson) of Ottawa.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
