With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Reginald MacDonald of Heatherton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allan Reginald MacDonald to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Angus (Danny) and Sarah Janet MacDonald (Wallace); his siblings, Donnie (late Kathleen), Francis, Wally, Sylvester (late Loretta Fields) and Christina; and his siblings-in-law, Gen Richardson (late Bernie) and Jim Fraser.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa (Fraser); his children, Terry, Heather, Brian (Tanya), Dwayne (Skylan) and Darryl (Heather); his siblings, Margaret Campbell (late Calvin), Catherine Steele (late Bob), Bernadette Simpson (late Bill), Theresa Sanderson (Ray), Elmer (Joan), Angus and Eugene; and his siblings-in-law, Carmel MacDonald, Paula Smith (late Jack), Margie Grace (Vince) and Ron Fraser (Sheila). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the MacIsaac Funeral Home (61 Pleasant St, Antigonish, NS B2G1W7). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Ninian's Cathedral (121 St Ninian St, Antigonish, NS B2G1Y9).
