She was predeceased by : her parents, Benedict Lafford and Margaret Lafford (Stevens); her daughter Belinda Gardiner; and her siblings, Michael Patrick, Levi, Linda, Earl and Helen Lafford.

She is survived by : her children, Mike Lafford (Charlene), James Gardiner (Bernadette Peters), Peter Isaac (Sasha) and Annie Margaret "Lulu" (Harvey Dunn); her goddaughter Charlotte Lafford; her siblings, Mary Ann Sark (Harold Ehler), Johnny Lafford, Joan Lafford, Joseph Lafford, Judy Lafford-Jones (Kenneth Jones), Sandra Lafford and Peter Isaac, Sr.; and her friend John R. Prosper. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
