With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Theresa Dove (Heatherton, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 8, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Brosha and Mabel Brosha (MacDonald); her siblings, Mary Walsh (late Eugene), Louis and Carroll; and her sister-in-law Susan.
She is survived by: her husband Rod; her sons, Kristopher (Audrey) and Robbin (Laura); her grandchildren, Rachel, Ava, Max and Elliot; her siblings, Lorraine Schofield (Gordon), Genevieve Marcil (late Phillip), John (June), Arthur (Lorraine), Sylvester (Bunny), Beverly Gilfoy (late Bernie), Claire MacDonnell (Joe), Marian and Noella (Brenda); and her in-laws, Jeanette (late Carroll), Eleanor Brosha (late Louis), Ellen Sherren (Reginald) and Jane Jesseau (Jerome).
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rita can be made to the Pictou County Palliative Care Society (https://www.pcpcares.org), or to the VON Pictou County.
