He was predeceased by : his parents, Gerald Dempsey and Frances Dempsey; and his grandmother Dora Dempsey. He is survived by : his brother Phillip Dempsey (Doreen) of Moncton, NB; his nephews, Jason Dempsey (Lee) and Adam Dempsey (Becca); and his siblings, Stuart Dempsey (Heather, family: Sara Knowles, Emily Beaver, Meghan Henneberry, Kyle Dempsey), Greg Dempsey, Brenda Dempsey (family: Miranda Corbett, Kate McGee) and Peggy Wheaton (David, family: Connor Wheaton).
