He was predeceased by: his son Michael Coolen; his parents, Percy "Lee" Coolen and Lila Marcella "Marcie" Joudrey; and his brother Arthur Coolen. He is survived by: his wife Kornelia Coolen; his children, Vickie Coolen (Glenn), Alana Coolen (Simon), Megan Barry (Chris), Jameson Coolen and Kristofer Coolen (Selena); his grandchildren, Dylan, Austin, Cameron Coolen, Adrastea, Tiberius Slade, Corran Squire, Maddox, Asher and Rory Barry; and his siblings, Linda Coolen, Corinne Manuel and Scott Coolen.
In Allan's memory, the family asks that donations be made to Hope for Wildlife, VON, or the South Shore Palliative Care Service.
