He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leboire Hubbard and Madeline Hubbard (Douet); his son Brad; and his siblings, Anthony, Ernie, Marie Babin, Madelyn Moulaison and Margaret Wood.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred "Millie" Hubbard (Deveau); his sons, Henry (Brenda), Bennie (Bonnie) and Arcadia; his stepchildren, Peter Deveau and Simone Deveau (Mike) of Surrey, B. C.; his grandchildren, Jason, Priscilla (Jay), Matthew, Heidi (Hunter), Justin, Tyler, Sarah and Samantha; and his sister Mary Rose Muise (Amirault Hill). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Yarmouth Wesleyan Church (70 Haley Rd, Yarmouth, NS B5A4B3). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in George's memory may be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation.
