He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Dorey and Esther Dorey (Nauss); and his sister Christine Allyson. He is survived by: his sister Anne; his brother-in-law Andy Hare; his goddaughter Allyson McKinnon (Shannon); his niece JoAnne Hare (David Millar); his nephew Steven Hare (Sarah) of Hubbards; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Christina, Mitchell, Ava, Iyla, Caleb, Ebbi and Bonnie.
