She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Reginald Shankel and Rebecca Alice Dorey (Becky); her husband Charles Bernard Scanlan (Bernie); and her brothers, Laurie Stewart Shankel and Brenton Leslie Shankel (Buzzie).
She is survived by: her sons, Peter and Bruce (Sara Stairs); and her grandchildren, Laura, David and Audrey.
