She was predeceased by: her husband Tom. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Meers and Brenda Hughes; her grandson Callam; her son-in-law Tony; her sister Ruby; and her friend Annapolis Royal of Nova Scotia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers and cards, donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
