She was predeceased by: her parents, Melbourne Surette and Thérèse Surette (Muise) of September; her siblings, Annette Muise and Ludger; and her husband Doug Trefry.
She is survived by: her siblings, Austin, Dorothy "Dolly" LeBlanc and Pauline Bourque; her children, Ritchie, Duane and Jocelyn; her stepchildren, Steven, Dale and Gary; her grandchildren, Katherine, Gregory, Eric and Matthew; her stepgrandchildren, Laura, Kristen, Riley, Jack and Parker; and her friend Sandy Cranton.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Anne's Catholic Church (7309 Lighthouse Rte, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau, NS B0W2X0). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at the Église de Saint-Joseph in Surettes Island.
