He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Sanford and Marjorie Sanford (Dimock) of St. Croix. He is survived by: his wife Connie (Barnes); his children, Michael (Tina), Geoffrey (Kathy), Wendy Fife (David) and Jo-Ann Instrum (Mike); his brothers, Arthur (Marg) and Blake (Martha); his grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Ryan, Marc, Bridget, Emma, Brooke and Claire; and his great grandchildren, Melanie and Trevor.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service (419 Albert St, Windsor, NS B0N2T0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ste. Croix United Church (5477 Nova Scotia Trunk 1, Saint Croix, NS B0N2E0). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at the Ste. Croix Cemetery.
