It is with sadness that the passing of John Thomas Duncan of Hubley, Nova Scotia is shared. John Thomas, born on June 29, 1944, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sadie Duncan and George Duncan; his siblings, Jim (Jeanette), Bernard, Edward (Elizabeth), Angus and Betty LeRue; his sister-in-law Janette; and his nephews, Jamie and Jason.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Tenia Morris (Parrsboro) and Sharlene Young (Bermuda); his granddaughters, Kristen Burchat (Kingston), Angela Morris (Calgary), Megan Morris (Ottawa) and Hope Young (Bermuda); and his great grandchildren, Edison Burchat and Stella Burchat.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P1K6).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzhemier Society of Nova Scotia.
