With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Gregory Whitty (Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia), born in Neils Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 21, 2018 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by : his grandparents, George Whitty, Gertrude Whitty, Thomas Scott, Casilda Whitty (Cavanaugh-Scott) and Maurice Whitty; and his brothers, Joseph and Blair.

He is survived by : his siblings, Leonard (Clare), Perry (Lisa) and Wanda (Dean Barron); and his nephews, Alex, Brenden and Brett. He is also survived by his many cousins and special friends, aunts and uncles.
