With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Whitty of Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia, born in Neils Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 64. She was predeceased by: her father Russell Whitty; her brothers, William and Eric; and her grandson Connor. She is survived by: her son Cory (Rosanne); her partner Bernie Gillis; her daughter Kimberley; her siblings, Carolyn (Mickey), Delores (Malcom), Mable (Alex), Cornelius (Betty), James (Debbie), Johnny (Judy), Clifford and Lawrence; her grandchildren, Alyssa, Cameron, Dwayne, Damon, Mikayla, Hannah and Autumn; and her great grandchild Jayce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
