Violet Whitty Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Whitty (Ingonish Beach, Nova Scotia), born in North Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scott (Tubby) and Casilda Cavanaugh (Pookie); her parents-in-law, George and Gertrude Whitty; her sons, Frank, Blair and Joseph; her brothers, Gerard and Alexander; and her sister-in-law Marie Cavanaugh.

She is survived by: her spouse Maurice Francis; her children, Leonard (Clare Johnson), Perry (Lisa) and Wanda (Dean Barron); her grandsons, Alex, Brenden and Brett; and her brothers, Danny Cavanaugh, Billy Scott (Millie) and George Whitty (Wanda). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
