She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis James Murphy (Jim) and Annie Elizabeth; her brothers, Innis Carmen, Munroe Emmerson and Herbert Hewlet (Herb); her sister-in-law Winnifred (Winnie); and her husband David Duncan MacDonald.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Rhadie Virginia, Cora Vivian, Francine Muirhead (Kenny) and Heather Burton (Edward); her nieces and nephews, Michael, Dennis, Willard, Natalie (Chris), Carmella and Marlene (Claude); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordon (Janelle), Kale, Connor, Sheamus, Liam, Shelly, Marissa and Eryn. She is also survived by grand) nieces, nephews and God children.
Never to be idle, Marie often kept busy, knitting socks as she had learned from her mother and crocheting blankets, Christmas ornaments and dish clothes that she would gift to family or donate to the church sales.
