With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilena Christine Doucette of Ingonish, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 27, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Hughie Hines and Alfreda Hines (Hawley) of Ingonish Ferry; her husband Joe Doucette; and her siblings, James, Melvin, Tom, Harold, Norma, Raymond, Dave, Evelyn and Billy.

She is survived by : her niece Brenda; her daughter Jane Doucette (Donnie MacAskill); her grandson Joey Doucette; her daughter Lesa Doucette-McHugh (Jason McHugh); her granddaughter Mya McHugh; her son Arthur Doucette (Connie McNamara); her grandsons, Noah Doucette (Samantha Lawless), Seth Doucette and Jacob Doucette; her son Christopher Morrison; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hines and Mary Doyle.

A time of visitation for Wilena will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Port Hawkesbury on Tuesday March 2nd from 2-4 p. m. and 6-8 p. m., with all COVID regulations for masks and distancing in place.

In Lieu of flowers. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Margaret's Cemetery Fund, or to a charity of your choice.
