He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia; his siblings, Sextus, Delores (Lally) and Theresa Gillis (Alex); his siblings-in-law, Kathleen Feehan (MacLellan), Roy Yipp and Charlie MacDonald (Canoe); and his in-laws, Alex Joe Iain and Kaye MacDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Conor and Cailin; his daughter-in-law Kristina; his grandchildren, Tyler, Marlee and Lucca; and his siblings, Lorette Yipp, Verna Peters (Ted), Sheila, Duane, Floyd, John R., A. D. (Marie), Frank (Theresa), Danny (Lorna) and Alice. He is also survived by nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews, and many cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Stella Maris Church (47 Upper Railway St, Inverness, NS B0E1N0). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Inverness Foodbank and/or the Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
