Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Daniel Francis MacKenzie of Iona, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 74, on April 29, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel MacKenzie and Lucy MacKenzie (Currie); his siblings, Catherine MacKinnon (Albert), Cassie MacLean (Buddy) and Dougal MacKenzie; and his sister-in-law Jessie MacKinnon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann MacKenzie, Theresa MacRae (Angus), Gerard (Lynn), Joe (Betty) and John; his friend Kim Mullane; his nephew Simon MacKenzie; and his cousin Peggy MacNeil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Columba Church (2561 St Columba Rd, Iona, NS B2C1A8). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
