He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel MacKenzie and Lucy MacKenzie (Currie); his siblings, Catherine MacKinnon (Albert), Cassie MacLean (Buddy) and Dougal MacKenzie; and his sister-in-law Jessie MacKinnon.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ann MacKenzie, Theresa MacRae (Angus), Gerard (Lynn), Joe (Betty) and John; his friend Kim Mullane; his nephew Simon MacKenzie; and his cousin Peggy MacNeil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
