Rhodena MacNeil Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rhodena MacNeil (Iona, Nova Scotia), born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 65. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rhodena MacNeil to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Neil and Kathee MacKinnon (MacKenzie); her mother-in-law Mamie MacNeil; her siblings, Margaret Rose MacNeil, Anne Marie MacMullin and Jimmy MacKinnon; her godson Rodney Neil MacMullin; her nephew John C. MacKinnon; her aunt Sarah Catherine 'Tata MacDonald; and her uncle Johnathon 'Johnsie MacKinnon.

She is survived by: her husband David MacNeil; her children, Lisa MacNeil (Andy) and Bernard MacNeil (Julie); her grandchildren, A. J., Calder and Sadie Rhodena; and her siblings, Michael Angus MacKinnon (Evelyn) of Big Beach, Norman MacKinnon (Liz) of Big Beach and Bernita MacKinnon (Kevin) of Truro. She is also survived by her niece and nephews, and also many grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation for Rhodena will be 6 to 9 p. m. Wednesday, at the Iona Parish Community hall where Covid-19 protocol regarding the wearing of masks and social distancing will be in place.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the MS Society of Canada.
