She was predeceased by: her parents, Colin MacLean and Flora MacLean (MacDougall); her brother Sandy; her siblings-in-law, Linda and Duncan MacDonald; her close friends, Pauline Campbell and Rose MacLeod; her son Paul; her caregivers, Kyla MacKeigan and Kelly MacDonald; Margie, Billy, Ann, Gordie, Frank, Ritchie and Kathleen.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh; her children, Angela (Don), Darryl (Jennifer), Tracy (Kevin) and Shelly (Michael); her grandchildren, Ashely (Nic), Allan (LaReta), Dylan, Paige, Kyle (Sam), Emily and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Leo, Lily, Kaleb, Audrey, Jackson and Conrad; her siblings, Don (Iris) and Cathy (Denis); her sister-in-law Mabel; her cousin Margie (Billy); and her close friend Darlene.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Community Room of the Judique Fire Department (30 River Denys Rd, Judique, NS B0E1P0). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church (5486 Nova Scotia Trunk 19, Judique, NS B0E1P0).
In lieu of flowers the family asked that donations be made to Beaton The Odds or Cathy's Place.
