With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Reader of Kennetcook, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 28, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill Reader to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Emma Elizabeth Reader (Allison); and his siblings, Eva May, Freda Jane, Albert Charles, Doris, Ida, Lillian, Myrtle, Harold, Douglas, Gladys Eudora and Etta.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hill (Liz); his stepchildren, Harold (Wanda), Charles and Jennifer (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Russell, Austin, Julia and Ella; and his stepgreat-grandchild Carson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. Wilson Allen Funeral Home - Kennetcook (6571 NS-354, Kennetcook, NS B0N 1P0). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lower Selma Cemetery (6971 NS-215, Maitland, NS B0N1T0).
