Lorraine touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Lorraine’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray MacAskill and Ethel MacAskill (Wilcox); and her husband Randy Sheppard. She is survived by: her brother Rodney (Barb); her nephew Kenny; and her brother Davids (Barb).

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kennetcook United Church Cemetery.

Lorraine asked that any donations be made to animal welfare groups such as Hope for Wildlife or the SPCA.
