He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Aker and Joyce Aker; and his siblings, Mark and April. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard (Rick), Catherine, Janice Myre (Dave), Scott, Cheryl and Rhonda; his daughter Marina; and the mother of his child Janet.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tony's memory to either Acadia University Athletics or the Royal Canadian Legion.
