He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Irving and Dorothy Irving (Martin); and his siblings, Paul, Mike, Theda and Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his children, Erin, Lynn and Ryan; his siblings, Richard, Robert, Ronald, Jeff, Carol, Judy, Janet, Nancy and Deidra; and his sister-in-law Cathy Milne. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
