She was predeceased by: her parent Edison Outhouse; her husband Vernon Howard Nickerson; and her brother Burton Outhouse. She is survived by: her parent Elinor Outhouse (Thompson); her children, Bernie Nickerson (Corinne), Jill Nickerson-Smith (Weldon) of Tignish Bridge, Jackie (Avery), Entremont of Pubnico, Karen Fevens-Nickerson (Warren), Sheila Nickerson and Tim Nickerson (Cheryl); her siblings, David Outhouse (Anne Walker) of Bridgewater, Iris Johnson (Joy) of Westport, N. S. and Crystal MacDormad (Jimmy) of Westport, N. S.; and her grandchildren, Kirk (Shonda), Stacey Carole Nickerson, Brett Howard Smith, Dennis (Angeline), Entremont, Tammy Hamilton (Lance), Gerri Fevens (Ivan Milbury), Lacey Mullen (Adam), Timothy Jake Nickerson and Caitlyn Dawn Nickerson. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 2 great great-grand children.
