He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Schofield and Jessie Schofield (Rogers); and his brother Edwin Schofield of Baxter's Harbour Cemetery.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Baxter's Harbour Cemetery.
