He was predeceased by: his parents, James Watson and Carrie Beatrice Watson (Millett); his wife Pat; his grandson Noah Bigelow; his nephew Douglas Borden; and his brother-in-law Arthur Borden.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Diane Russell; his children, Kara Bigelow (Tim) and Kevin Watson (Melissa Harris); his sister Blanche (Sheffield Mills); his niece Pam Borden; his grandchildren, Ashley Watson (Glen Balson) of Ottawa, ON, Brandon Bigelow (Jessica), Maggie Bailey (Cutler), New Minas, Gillian Watson and Bryce Bigelow (Jason Wolf) of Halifax, NS; his great grandchildren, Mia, Brayden, Jordan and Zachery Balson of Ottawa, ON; and his grandchildren, Colt, Navy Bigelow and Vivian-Rose.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elm Grove Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Meadowview Community Centre. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at the Elm Grove Cemetery.
