He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland "Pauss" Ettinger and Mary "Pat" Ettinger; and his brother Michael "Mike". He is survived by : his wife June "Joon" Babstock; his children, Dylan "Bo" Ettinger, Melissa, Holly, Bacon and Taz; his siblings, Orleans, Debbie Ettinger, Karen Hake (Carl) and Lynn Ettinger (Tanya Hamilton); and his nieces and nephews, Jennie, Lindsey, Rachel, Stephanie, Shawn, Kari and Kristi.

Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the MS Society.
