She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Rathbone and Hazel Rathbone (Jordan); her husband Lemert Leslie Carey; her brother Blake Carson; her sons, Carson Lee and Randall Bradford Carey McKay (Sheila); and her daughter-in-law Sheila.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Carey Wile (Jim); her granddaughter Victoria; and her siblings, Harold Jay Rathbone (Linda), Althea Woods (David) and Marcia Morse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Avonport Baptist Church.
