She was predeceased by : her parents, Angus MacLean and Margaret MacLean; her husband Morris "Moe" Kennie; her son George Kennie; and her son-in-law Stephen Sweeney.
She is survived by : her daughter Heather Sweeney of New Minas; her grandsons, Sean and Brent Sweeney; her sisters, Norma Flewwelling, Phyllis Forbes and Gena; and her brother-in-law Bryan Kennie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
