He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosie Tracey and William Tracey (Bill) of Wolfville; and his siblings, Gladys Jodrey, Carol Tracey, William Tracey (Billy), Darrell Tracey and Richard Tracey.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Harvey); his sons, Barry Tracey (Dana), Petite of Grat, Cape Breton and Keith Tracey; his grandsons, Brandon Tracey, Dylan Tracey, Petite of Grat and Cape Breton; his siblings, David (Grandview Manor) and Cheryl Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Sheldon Harvey (Steam Mill), Norma Webster, Elsie Tracey, Ladene Weir and Greenwich.
