It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Marion (Gates) Palmer (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eleanor touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Gates and Blanche Gates (Smith). She is survived by: her husband Malcolm; her children, Janice (Dan), Andrew and Sarah (Mike); and her grandchildren, Jay, Leah, Heidi and Eric.
