She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ringer and Laura Ringer (Hamm); her husband Weldon; her half-brother Harold Johnston; her siblings, Robert Ringer and Bessie Whynot; her grandson Ryan Kenney; her great grandchild Adrianna Kenney; and her stepgreat-grandson Alex Hoare.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Lewis (Barry) of New Minas; her grandchildren, Tara Lewis (Robert MacLeod), Tyler Lewis (Katlyn Atwell) and Kristan Kenney (Melissa Price); her stepgranddaughter Janice Quinn (Ricky Hoare) of New Glasgow; her great grandchildren, Joshua, Kieran and Kaia; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Rian, Meleena, Hailey and Aurora; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Ringer, Lunenburg, Roselia Sheaves and Dartmouth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Diabetes Society, the Heart and Stoke Foundation or to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia.
