He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Benjamin and Gertrude Benjamin (Bowden); his siblings, William Benjamin, Hollie Benjamin and Beverley MacLeod; and his close friend Frances "Fran" Hawkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles (Rita), Brian (Kristi), James (Michelle) and Grande Prairie; his siblings, Obrey Benjamin, Alta Fife, Hilda Tibbetts, Carolyn MacDonald (Archie), Sydney and Brenda Bowden (Wyman); his sister-in-law Doris Benjamin; his grandchildren, Lindsay (Alex), Jason, Katelyn (Jeremy), Dylan, Chandler, Kaiden, Liam and Abigail; and his great grandchild Everleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
