He is survived by: his children, Candice Hughes (Guy Boutilier), John Hughes (Shandelle Warford), Berwick Hughes and Digger Hughes (Kellie Trefry); and his grandchildren, Brodie Cunningham, Colin Cunningham of Dartmouth, Abby Hughes, Camden Hughes, Hantsport, Mya and Kamryn Walsh.
