Freda Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Smith (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 12, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Kenneth and Sarah Elizabeth "Sadie" MacDonald (MacDonald); her husband Merle; her sons, Alan Martin (Janet) and Jerry Martin (Laurie); her grandchildren, Amanda (Darrell Goodman), Wynn (Sarah) and Korby (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Summer, Reid, Isla and Eamon; her brother Howard (Ali); her former husband Cleason "Mart" Martin; her son Rob; and her siblings, Samuel, Harold, John "Donald", Emery "Sonny", Lawrence, Fulton and Elsie. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
