He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Sawler and Iva Sawler (Collins); his wife Marlene; his children, Rodney and Stephanie; his granddaughter Thea; his sisters, Sharon and Connie; and his brother-in-law Jim Messom.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robyn Coleman of Kentville and Amanda Sawler (Darren) of Kentville; his son-in-law Scott Hillier; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Courtney, Mackenzie (Caleb), Hunter, Korey and Kaylee; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Leah, Kaden, Jordan and Hank; and his siblings, John (Judy) of Port Williams, Garnet (Carol) of New Minas, Joe (Natalie) of New Germany, Marsha (Mark) of Sunken Lake, Betty of Hantsport, Patricia of Greenwich and Donna (Kimber) of New Ross. He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4).
