It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Wells Smith of Kentville, Nova Scotia, born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 3, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his mother Josephine Smith; and his siblings, Charlie, Allan, Sharon and Nancy.

He is survived by : his wife Sally Smith (Harvie); his daughters, Cindy Hemeon (Leon), Sandra Hamilton (Wayne) and Kathy Rafuse (Brian); his niece Sherry Creemer; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hemeon, Mellisa Pulsifer (Chris), Michael Hemeon, Katie Hamilton, Grampy, Kailey and Nia; his siblings, Jerry Smith (Genevieve) and Linda Lunn; and his brother-in-law Charlie Winters.

Donations in memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society.
